The cookies and similar technologies used by www.trouvenir.it, their purposes and how to manage your consent at any time.

Scopewww.trouvenir.it
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites save on your device. Together with similar technologies (local storage, pixels) they enable the site to work, measure its use and — only with your consent — marketing activities. This policy concerns the website www.trouvenir.it; the iOS and Android apps do not use advertising cookies.
2. Strictly necessary cookies
These are essential for the site to work and do not require consent:
Session and authentication (Supabase) — maintain any login session; duration tied to the session/access token.
Login support (trv-auth-next) — temporary cookie used during the Google/Apple login redirect; lasts about 1 hour.
Anti-bot security (Cloudflare Turnstile) — protects features such as the scanner from abuse; session duration.
Functional local storage — we store some preferences and Cultural Diary/itinerary progress locally so you can resume where you left off; this data stays on your device and, if you sign in, can be synced with your account.
3. Analytics cookies
Enabled only with consent, they help us understand how the site is used in order to improve it:
Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) — aggregated navigation statistics, managed with Google Consent Mode v2. Main cookies: _ga (2 years), _ga_<id> (2 years), _gid (24 hours).
PostHog (EU cloud) — product analytics and optional session replay with text inputs masked. It mainly uses local storage and a cookie/identifier (e.g. ph_<id>) to recognise the session.
4. Marketing and advertising cookies
Enabled only with consent, they are used to measure campaigns and show relevant content and ads:
Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) — campaign measurement and remarketing. Main cookies: _fbp (about 3 months) and fr.
Google AdSense (Google Ireland Ltd.) — serving of advertisements. The site is linked to AdSense for ownership verification, but ads are not yet active. When activated, serving will take place only with consent and, for users in the European Economic Area, through a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP). Typical cookies (once active): IDE, test_cookie (doubleclick.net domain), with durations from a few minutes up to about 13 months.
5. Managing consent
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept, reject or customise the cookie categories. By default, non-essential cookies remain disabled until you accept them (Google Consent Mode v2, opt-out by default for PostHog). You can change or withdraw your choices at any time via the "Cookie preferences" button in the site footer.
You can also manage or delete cookies from your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may impair the functioning of the site.
6. Third-party cookies and further information
Some cookies are set by third parties acting as independent controllers for the purposes described in their respective policies. For more details and to exercise your rights with them, you can consult:
Google (Analytics and AdSense): policies.google.com/technologies/cookies and policies.google.com/privacy.
This Cookie Policy may be updated if the services used or the applicable regulations change. Changes take effect upon publication on this page; we invite you to review it periodically.
8. Prevailing language
This English text is a translation provided for your convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the Italian version of this Cookie Policy prevails.
