Trouvenir is an independent editorial project. We don't publish sponsorships disguised as recommendations. Every entry goes through our verification process before it reaches the app.

Methodology

Our 4-step process

    Selection

    Start from official sources (PDO/PGI/TSG via eAmbrosia, Slow Food Presidia, regional PAT) and shop nominations. Every souvenir begins as a hypothesis to verify.

  2. 2

    Verification

    Cross-checks on material, supply chain, history. No entries generated without traceable sources.

  3. 3

    Field visit

    On-site visits or video calls with makers and producers. Original photography, current prices.

  4. 4

    Refresh

    Each entry shows the last-updated date. Flag mismatches and we review within 7 days.
